Alita Cafe opened its doors in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2021. Long-time New Yorkers Alejandro Ceballos and Paolo Maliksi dreamed of a warm, inviting space where everyone could come and meet.
The name Alita stems from the Spanish word "Abuelita", which is a personal nickname that Alejandro would fondly call his grandmother. As a child, she would always welcome him into her kitchen to snack and relax. This same warmth and guise is what guides the customer service at Alita. Although she lives now in our memory, the spirit of "Alita" lives on through our cafe, and onto every person that walks through our doors.
At Alita, the moment you walk through our doors, you become family.
